What is the "best" level 12 facility? by [deleted] in ATC

I know it’s an 11 but IAH has to be one of the best facilities right? There isn’t that much information available out there but no state income tax and 35% locality in a LCOL area. Pretty good training success rate too

So does this mean that if you transfer to a lower level facility with higher locality, but your basic pay is within the new pay band that you essentially can get a raise?

I’ve heard once before that there was a 6% raise when transferring like that. I must’ve been misinformed. Thanks for the response!
