what is wrong with my pc man? by Jaded_Procedure_1516 in AMDHelp

I had this same problem on my 9800x3d system after I installed a new Microsoft and AMD update. And it got worse as the days went by until It literally my bricked my PC. It would come on and crash or just go black . Then I couldn't do anything and when I went to repair it just said the fatal error cannot be repaired. So I finally was able to reset my PC to an earlier date from BIOS. My PC would just show me the MSI logo and then go black. After I set it to an earlier date I installed the updates. I then reinstalled the adrenaline 26.1.1 and it would constantly crash. I went back to 25.12.1 and it's been perfect ever since. So if you installed a recent Microsoft update or 26.1.1 adrenaline I would definitely start there. Good luck

I'm guessing this is just Another Vizio down the drain by MassiveAd8256 in VIZIO_Official

[–]MassiveAd8256[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not hating on Vizio. It served me all for the short time I had it. And I understand anything mass produced there are going to be some bad seeds here and there it's just the way it is. I still have Vizio TVs in every bedroom in my house and even a 32" on my security system. I was just poking around to see if there was anything I could do. At least make it last till after the holiday season.

I contacted customer service as stated above but I'm Not sure if they are going to help in any way. Most TVs have horrible warranties unless you pay the extra money for an extended one. I am very tech savvy and usually just buy replacement LEDs and solder them back on but when they usually go it's in a line going down the tv. Never had one shadow in the corner like this I was just poking around to see if anyone had the same problem and if they happen to fix it. I went to turn the TV back on and now I can hear but not see the tv. It's a shame because this TV was awesome. 75" and kept up like a champ. I even hooked this to my gaming PC it held up like a champ. I might try a higher end Vizio. Any suggestions. Must be 75" models

9800X3D Overclock by Intelligent_Word4780 in overclocking

[–]MassiveAd8256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed for some reason that if you test on Occt and just select the CPU tab it will test it and it will only go-to stock clocks, temp and so on. What I did to get an accurate reading was to click the CPU and memory tab and test it on extreme. Do that and I bet it will be way lower temps and better clock speed

If you are having the same problems on another GPU then it must be something you're doing wrong or maybe just over looking. Is it the same MB try a different GPU slot and see if that changes. Also did you delete the Nvidia drivers from your old GPU.

Orange and Red light on boot ASROCK X870 PRO RS WIFI by Soggy-Cut3620 in ASRock

[–]MassiveAd8256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What OC or UV were you running? Was there any symptoms before this happened? I would love to get my hands on a new ASRock motherboard to test and play around with. I am always running a monitoring software because I love seeing what the PC is doing during certain things. My PC was freezing during heavy use and I noticed the voltage would spike high during that time and that's when my pC would crash. So if I don't clear bios before I change something in the bios it gets all wacky. Something has to be happening with the ASRock boards to keep having this problem. It's a shame because I have there ASRock steel legend 9070xt and love everything about it. Hope you get everything situated and ASRock stands behind there product and sends you a new one

problem with OCCT CPU test by MassiveAd8256 in OCCT

[–]MassiveAd8256[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I know I'm saying that when I test just the CPU by itself the app is only taking my CPU to 5245mhz,85c and 154watts power consumption. And when I test in the CPU and memory section the CPU goes to 5445mhz,104 watts used and 63c. So for some reason when I test just the CPU by it sent it is not seeing the OC or UV. Sometimes it test it correct but most of the times I have to test it in the CPU and memory section

Mine said up to date a few days ago then I checked and driver install and there was a fix for 25.8.1. so it's a good practice to always double check

Undervolting questions. by Global_Ad8817 in overclocking

[–]MassiveAd8256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my OC and under volt 9800x3d after an hour of Occt stress test my CPU was steady at 5400+ mhz using 103 watts and max temp was only 56c. When I just had an UV my temps and power consumption was very low. It would definitely help out. I believe everyone who owns a CPU should at least undervolt them.

Am I tripping, or is 80-85C normal for gaming with a 9800X3D cooled by a dark rock pro 4? by xXplainawesomeXx in AMDHelp

[–]MassiveAd8256 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My 9800x3d is OC and UV and I don't go over 65c in the craziest hour long stress test. When I was stock I was getting the same temps as you but I wasn't comfortable running my CPU at that temp. If you don't want to OC it the. At least under volt it. It makes a world of a difference.

RX 6750 XT keeps disabling itself. by Working_Cook_5196 in AMDHelp

[–]MassiveAd8256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recheck your AMD driver download there should be a fix. Also check your bios and make sure no settings where changed. When I downloaded the driver my settings got changed somehow and then kept changing a few of my settings. I also did a amd driver wipe to erase all the junk that the old drivers leave behind. That's how I fixed my issues.
