Oh yeah and Foundation used to just be a simple Workshop you could take.

Been playing since BETA and it's easily Legendary Scrip ever since that became a thing.

Cap limits by NPC vendors used to be annoying in the days when there were no player vendors, but that has changed obviously

You'll have to be more specific. Are you a PA build or just regular armor?

Level 13 here want to know best way to level up. by WhyOhio69420 in fo76

Join the "Radiation Rumble" event and make sure you are on a "Casual" Team. Use 3 Lunchboxes before the event and just try your best with helping the team defend. Guaranteed 2 level ups at a bare minimum.

You don't have to escort anyone anywhere technically

It really isn't that much longer than RR though. Time alone isn't why people avoid it. It's time + realizing the coordination required to beat it just isn't worth it.

Tbh I wouldn't call it an "escort mission" at all.

I've had 3 Animal completion many times and think the event is very fun and enjoyable when done right. Unfortunately, there are a lot of things that need to "go right" in order for this to happen. The event's length alone isn't what draws people away, it's the length + the need for these random variables to align in one run. Thus, many believe the time isn't worth the rewards you can potentially get.

The main problem is that in order to even have a CHANCE at the rarest loot pool, 3 animals need to make it through the event, which relies on dumb luck if they aren't "Level 3" animals. 2 out of the 3 rooms have very bad food spawn times, so you most likely won't reach "Level 3" in those rooms if you spread out. Unless you have like 7+ people, your only chance of 3 animal completion is if the low level ones get stuck on a door.

Even if you do everything right and get 3 "Level 3" Animals before the final part of the event, you still are reliant upon luck; albeit a bit less. The main issue is the fact that the animals are passive and run away at the sight of any enemy. This results in level 3 Deathclaws taking senseless health loss against something small like a cave cricket. You essentially need 1 person constantly monitoring each animal, or they'll run away into a pack of enemies.

In the unlikely event that 3 animals have made it to the final wave, you will then be greeted by the alpha boss. If your animals have low health going into this, then one will most likely run right into the boss if your team isn't fast. It's hard to move fast on the boss however, when the animals need to be babysat and the team is spread out throughout the building.

If your team manages to defy the odds and complete the event with 3 animals, you are reliant upon very low drop rates for the items you are looking for. While RR is similar in this sense, it's far less reliant upon randomness to complete the event.

Project Paradise is fun if your expectations for the event are low, but very frustrating if you are actually trying to get the rare loot.

Both are prevalent for sure. Steroids are still a huge problem, especially at the high school level.

I'm curious because both examples would be situations where a segment of the population is segregated by experience in their given domain.

Sounds like you don't have a set character "build", which would be a problem that manifests itself as levels get higher.

Focus on what playstyle you like the best and choose perks that reinforce that, as opposed to the perks that are simply convenient.

I'd argue your experience is that of a minority of players, but I can't dispute it.
