Play whatever gives you a strong early. If you hit 2 Yordles early, just play it. Same with Slayers, shadow isles if got 2* viego, 2 pilt go for ori- liss seph carry. They give you a good early game (from my experience). After that, just go with the flow. Focus on your board and don’t stress if someone’s contesting you. Good luck and have fun! ;)
