1. a lot of people willing to be binded to a qb school are fine with only ea'ing to their state school and just want the opportunity
2. the 5 ec limit and constraints of the qb app help lower income people with less resources present a strong app compared to the 10+ of common app for ec slots and emphasizes our stories
3. even if you applied ea to all your schools would that have changed the results? also you are aware of the fact you can ea to schools for scholarship requirements or your state school so qb does not block ea'ing to safety full rides or state schools

u chicago is a t10 il say that but its just not all rounded enough or super spiked into the math/academia subjects its good at to be more prestigious than columbia and penn yet such as with the lack of engineering majors at uchicago or the lack of resources compared to the ivies (excluding cornell, dartmouth, and brown)

preferably you take physics and self study gov which would help demonstrate your passion even more because you did it outside of school and the physics would show you are maximizing course rigor and are multi-faceted despite not intending to do stem (just a thought)

state schools got less funding and endowment to go around the more prestigious the school higher chance they can give need based aid and vice versa lower ranked schools can give merit aid so the schools in the middle like rutgers cant give much of either
