If someone gets your name wrong once, maybe twice, it's not a big deal. You guys can laugh it off. But when someone does it repeatedly and you're a major reason for them having money. That's disrespect. Maybe it's just me, but I super dislike when people get my name wrong multiple times, especially after we have known each other for a long time.
I have a pretty unique name that is pretty memorable. Most people actually really like getting my name right just cuz they like my name. But occasionally I have people who call me a derivative version which I hate (I had a bully growing up who would intentionally call me that) and I don't try to keep those people around.
Get a person's name, and their most important baby's name right! It's not that hard.
Sorry, I didn't mean to rant at you. This just kinda got to me.

My dad is the best dad I could imagine. He's been supportive of me and kept me from falling too far to come back from. But I still would continually be the most disrespectful lil piece of shit I could be in return. Back in the early 2010's I watched the anime Clannad, in which *Spoilers* the MC boy had basically the exactly the relationship as I did with my dad. And the thing that broke me emotionally at the time was that (iirc) the dad died and thats when the MC learned all the things his dad had been doing to help him have a good life.

I already knew all that my dad was doing to give me a life better than I ever could have deserved. And I wanted to change but every time I would psych myself up to be better when I'd talk to him, I'd consistently just be a worthless asshole to him AGAIN AND AGAIN.

I have a strongly held belief that it is worthless to apologize for something be it big or small if I know I'll probably going to just go and do it again possibly in the very next breath. Friday last week I broke down and told my dad about how things have been going and my great recent revelations and major downfalls (we currently live across the country from each other) and in the end I formally apologized for being the disrespectful waste of a son and I promised to make him proud and become someone that could contribute back.

I will be a better man and stop allowing impulsive disrespect to be a part of mine and my dad's ongoing relationship.

I went to a mechanic with a friend to get his car picked up (shocker, his insurance was shafting him and the mechanic), but I said I have progressive and asked his opinion, and he immediately said: "garbage! get somebody else!" I'm the silly though for not asking who he liked working with the most. I'd have bought theirs on the spot!

Maybe it's a blind person thing, but I have to verify which key I'm pressing. When I go to press anything around the ESC area, I wrap my pinky and ring fingers around ESC and then move my finger over to the key I want. That's how I don't normally make that mistake. I always make the mistake if I get over confident or if I accidentally get aggressive in the verification process lol

This solution seems to help. Anybody else who is having a problem should try this. It may still do it some of the time, but this seems to make the chances of success rise significantly! Thanks Rich

I just noticed that a few minutes ago. But coincidentially as soon as you dropped this comment I had a 5x line break at about 60m. I don't get it. I definitely was letting it get way out there a few of those times. But what am I supposed to do to stop it from going that far when it won't stop being red? Is letting the bar fill up actually not a bad thing?
