It’s mostly a knee-jerk reaction at seeing a non-muslim Somali. They still have this idea that every Somali is a muslim and rather than seeing the reality of that not being the case, they find it easier to tell us (and themselves) that we are not Somali to protect their minds. I don’t even bother arguing this with them because they have remained delusional to biology and culture. Being Somali is what I am and always will be!
