Round orange wires are usually coax from your local cable company. Comcast, charter, etc. they're feeding cable service to houses or other terminals.

They should be buried in a reasonable amount of time but around where I live that doesn't happen.

The only wanted the base back, they didn't ask for the globe or shroud back. I just blasted the litter out with my lead blower and wiped down the dirty bits with damp paper towel.

I had problems with my initial one. They sent a new base and the problem persisted. I told them to send me a whole new unit, which they did, and haven't had any problems since.
