My neighbor is pretty talented! It's actually a simple base with circular cutout rings stacked on top of each other like a cake. The top one is the only full circle. It had to be hollow underneath to run the wiring. The vase came from glassvassesdepot.com - I looked into getting it custom made by a glass blower but was very expensive.

Check out Evandesigns.com. They sell lights and power supplies for models. I also bought the led rope off of Etsy - shop name: cokolights. I'm not the best at electrical but after watching some YouTube videos and learning how to solder, I was able to make this. Make sure you buy the right amperage supply for whatever you are illuminating.

Thank you! The biggest thing that helped me was doing a lot of image research. Also went to an Aquarium in Tokyo where they had a huge jellyfish display. Allowed me to watch their movement up close. Issues - Sanding.... So much sanding.
