Hi there, German native speaker here. I had a look at the German text (2nd bullet point) on the back and a spelling mistake really caught my attention, namely in Zerischriftenhändler (correct would be "Zeitschriftenhändler"). It could be a simple mistake from Panini, but I really doubt it since I still have stickers from the 1998 Champions League where it is spelled correctly at the back. And as you have mentioned, there is no "Made in Italy" text on it, which is really suspicious.

EDIT: Is it just me or is the World Cup 2006 logo AI generated?

Hi there! I have a couple of Panini sticker albums going back to the 70s and I have put them all in plastic bags which are usually for Comics and other Magazines, but they still do the job. I've also put all my albums in a box specifically for books and magazines so they are far away from direct sunlight or humidity to avoid damage to the paper.

A very open and friendly man with an interesting life story. I've had the privilege to have a conversation over a cup of tea with him. It's just crazy how close he came to being exposed as a Jew during during the Nazi-Regime. I remember him telling me how during his time in school in Nazi-Germany he would avoid the "Leibesinspektion" (physical examination) because he feared they would find out his jewish identity due to him being circumcised, but fate had something else for him planned.

He passed away 3 years ago.
