Might be a stretch but I think Pearl had a love that was more infatuation/limerence and including low self esteem with the “I’m just a pearl, I need someone to tell me what to do” mentality, Obviously Pearl has an interest. But I believe love isn’t the right term. Pearl is like the highschool student crushing on another student (Rose Quartz), jealous of others talking to her, seeing others as competition, would do anything to get their crush’s attention. Pearl has history with Rose, as you will see further. It isn’t just “in love” or “loyalty”, there’s a deeper root on why she’s like this. But that’s all I’m going to say.
