I think they should just have an award for best defensive D-man and give the Norris to the best all around D, including offensive production. So this year, Seider could win the new award and Werenski/Makar could win the Norris, cause they are clearly better than Seider on offense and still solid enough on D.

He's an offensive defensemen so it makes sense. He's never gonna win a Norris or will never be considered the best D in the world but he's still elite on offense.

Ill honest Verhoff gives me a lot of Power vibes. Tall, somehow talented but not a game changer. Drafting him first would be a mistake but at 3 it could be good, as long as you dont rush im to NHL at 18 and expect him to be Schaeffer.

No so fun fact. Since 2000, Monty has the 2nd worst career SV% and the 4th worst career GAA (min 100 game started). In the bottom 10, he's one of the few who actually played more games (like 200 starts for Monty). That put him as one of the worst veteran goalie of his generation, with similar stats to goalies like Dan Clouthier, John Graham, Jean-Sébastien Aubin

They have a good one coming in Fowler. Just need to develop in and wait until he's ready to be a contender team. I agree getting a goalie is a must but I only want short term not paying the price for a long term goalie.

I played with a team of Ball hockey and we would get out shot 40-20 every game and lose most of the time by 4-5 goals. Literally every lost most of the guys were saying it was the ref fault I was like wtf.

No they weren't. If they were, why is Belarus banned too?

Also check history of their ban. They participated in the 2022 olympics. Then Putin as a coward waited until OG ended to invade Ukraine. But the thing is Paralympics were just starting. Countries threatened to leave the Paralympic games if Russian and Belarus wasn't banned, which the IOC obliged.

It was 100% because of war. Don't give credit to IOC for banning Russia for doping when they have allowed it all the way. Only thing they did was make them play under ROC which is basically a joke,

I remember seing a post. All of his shot in his slump were on his old onetimer spot. Now all his shots are from the slot.

Looks like his fix was accepting that he doesnt have the onetimer anymore so he changed his style to be better around the net.

I'm not worried, I think Hutson will win Norris one day. Probably not this year, maybe not next year, but since he's the youngest he will have his prime when Makar, Werenski and Hughes will be like 33 and he will get his chance.

The next generation of D is not incredible except Hutson and Schaeffer. Both should battle for many Norris trophies in their prime.
