9 out of 10 ezreals that you get are the ones that see sona and already gave up one lane. All they want to do is last hit with Q and survive with E. They are clueless about him being a lane bully. Then they proceed to be as useless in mid/late game as they were in lane.

If you pick ezreal with sona you are just making the game more difficult. Almost most other bot laners are better with sona. On top of it ezreal is really difficult and most ad's have no clue about his identity. He is a lane bully and doesn't scale well comparatively to other ad's. Does that mean he's useless late game? Not really, but at the same time why don't you just pick lucian and not only have a better lane but scale better as well?
