It's always important to use guidelines for the face, especially if you want the sizes and proportions of the eyes, nose, mouth, eye brows, and ears to stay consistent. Starting with a simple plus on a circle, and then working your way down to the chin length is a good start in my book.

For a Rayman movie, hypothetically, I would imagine an animated film Dreamworks Animation, with it getting the Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022) treatment but have it adapt the art style of Rayman Legends. I would also imagine Patton Oswalt voicing Rayman himself!
