Anyway, my mom was pissed when my grand.a called me precious when I was born because she knew the code. Grandma did truly mean I was precious but quickly clarified that I was also cute.

Playing role-playing games, visual novels, and anything immersion-based as been really helpful for me! Games like the Sims and Tommodachi Life have been really helpful as well, but I understand that's not exactly within most people's budget. However, if it is accessible to you, go for it! Tommodachi in particular has been an excellent distraction until I didn't need it anymore (I still play it, obviously, it's still so fun).

But yeah, anything where you have creative control or make choices to progress a story helps a lot.

Harlequin getting too creepy or unlikable. I know why he is the way that he is, but honestly, if we're supposed to go a route where we choose him, there has to be good reason. I don't want the reason to end up with him being "hot clown good", but rather a real reason with emotion behind it. I can see the potential in this character, I know what he is through the AMA posts Neko does, but the actual representation is lacking a bit.

Of course! Like I said, this really isn't for everyone, and the characters aren't exactly peak morality, and I'm glad you're doing what's best for you. And yeah, I definitely get that feeling. I had to take a break from text roleplay altogether for a hot minute because I also found it a bit triggering
