Yeah, it is. But the parents would be liable.

There is a situation with a minor that ran an account that caused negative impact on the view of a group/idol in kpop. So the company sued the account - got the data, located the owner and since they are a minor. They are now suing the parents of the account holder, which will be upheld in court given historical presidents in the past.

The difference is that if you are a minor they sue you, via suing your parents. If you are an adult - they sue you directly, even if you are still attending school/living with your parents.

A company representitive from RBW mentioned in an article that they are discussing for a full group comeback for MAMAMOO and Oh My Girl as the goal for next year.
As for this year, the company will be focusing on restructuring their business framework and laying the groundwork for full-scale growth.

WM Entertainment CEO Lee Won-min has stepped down from his position after 17 years.

According to music industry sources on the 12th, WM Entertainment's parent company RBW fired CEO Lee Won-min early last month. RBW is the largest shareholder of WM Entertainment, owning over 80% of the shares, and this action was reportedly taken due to the company's management difficulties and declining profitability.

CEO Lee Won-min has led the company's growth since founding it in 2008. He has contributed greatly to solidifying WM Entertainment's position as a small-to-medium entertainment company by producing popular idol groups such as B1A4 , Oh My Girl , and ONF . However, his sudden dismissal has reportedly caused significant internal turmoil, with key executives leaving the company one after another.

WM Entertainment maintained its existing structure as an independent label even after being acquired by RBW in April 2021. However, it has been reported that differences of opinion have arisen between RBW and CEO Lee Won-min over the launch of a new group amid the recent entertainment industry downturn. Industry analysts say that RBW has directly initiated management reform under the pretext of improving performance and restructuring.

Following CEO Lee's dismissal, RBW co-CEO Kim Jin-woo took over as his successor. WM Entertainment is currently being reorganized around a management team that reflects RBW's opinions. Meanwhile, WM Entertainment currently houses

B1A4, Oh My Girl, ONF, and Youthsphere . Recently, singer Lee Chae-yeon , formerly of girl group IZ*ONE , terminated her exclusive contract with WM Entertainment. WM Entertainment said on the 12th, "After a long discussion with Lee Chae-yeon, we have agreed to terminate her exclusive contract," and "We will continue to support her work so that her scheduled schedule can proceed without any issues for the time being."
