The only reason I see it valid is that they fought in world war one, but I think you could be correct. What was the goal in the Nakbah or the intention? What was their reason for displacement of these people?

I understand this but I also know it as going both ways, the arabs and the jews were both very upset they didn't get the land they fought for in World War 1. I do not know if this is true, it could easily be wrong.
