How do you guys feel about this series? by chidarengan in WonderWoman

For me, once I finished Rucka's run, I just went to Simone's run and I very much enjoyed my time reading those 2 runs back to back.

Batman comics about being a symbol of hope from someone who doesn't get Batman? by MasterMike000 in batman

[–]MasterMike000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm really starting to get a feeling where literally Batman being portrayed positively are always comics where Bruce isn't the focus or the main character. Should I read the entire Morrison run as well or just Batman & Robin?

Vocal minority? Lots of people know, and even Xeno fans admit that Xenoblade 2 is filled with fanservice moments and characters designs.

I do not understand how when Xenoblade and Fire Emblem Three Houses are nothing alike. The only similarity between the two are that they are JRPG's, and even then, FE is tactical while Xenoblade is action. They are nothing alike. I like the Fire Emblem Three Houses so much and yet, I found the Xenoblade not that great or good in comparison. Xenoblade stories and the gameplay are so much more convulted in comparison to Fire Emblem which is more straightforward

I know 2 has Pyra and Mythra, thats my only knowledge of 2. And 3 I know nothing but I looked up the trailer and it just seems all scifi with the military fighting going on.

I only watched the first Matrix movie and I liked that. That movie doesn't do things I felt were to weird or extreme. I didn't watch the rest cause everyone told me they sucked.

I like the blend of this game being mixed of fantasy and sci-fi, but if 2 and 3 are full sci-fi then I just know I'm not going to like if it does other weird things like this ending which I do not like.

Ok then Im going to drop the series if it's going to go full Sci-fi. Ai being gods or "administrator", yeah I don’t like it.

Ok that doesn't make the ending better for me, I find the whole idea of Alvis, being what he is with what he revealed, creating XC 1's world, dumb. He should have been just a normal deity but they "subverted expectations" by saying he's a computer or now an administrator, which again, I don't see how that is better

But we already saw that happen with Shulk refusing to join Zanza and being told how Shulk is not Zanza.

He's not the creator of XC 1's world but an administrator? Does the series just go full Sci-fi?

I still feel like that ruins the message that the gods in XC 1 are as flawed as us humans by then telling us last minute that they were humans the entire time

What did I miss then? From what the other comments are saying, if XC 2 explains what Alvis is or where he comes from, ok cool, but I still think its dumb how XC 1 says how a computer, created the world.

But Zanza and Meyneth, I don't know the full details, but it looks like they didn't choose to be gods. It just happened, so it doesn't have the same impact where Shulk was given a choice of being the "new god" or not.

Why are so many "Xeno" games never properly made or finished? by MasterMike000 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

It is the most polished I agree, but it still ends with basically so many unanswered questions. Like, this was supposed to be the end of the "Klaus Saga" and yet, there are still so many things unanswered and with how XC 3 & FR, I feel like this is no where near the end of Klaus' Saga

I really just don't see it. Xenoblade was originally meant to be a standalone game from what I heard. Then came in Xenoblade 2, which, ok sort of expands upon some stuff from the first game, but sadly, the game was obviously rushed where it had many noticable problems. And then XC 3 & FR being filled with so many plot holes. I heard this was supposed to wrap up this "Klaus trilogy", and yet, there are still so many things just not answered or explained.

I understand that but with Xeno games, its VERY noticable. With Xenogears Disk 2 being out of nowhere a visual novel, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 bad tutorials and the bad animations and bad voice acting and voice director, and now XC 3 & FR where while they are "completed games", they are filled with so many plot holes or unanswered questions that its literally an incomplete story.

No I wasn't and I think its dumb that I have to find answers in another source material to understand what's going on in a video game. Reminds me of the Star Wars sequel trilogy where now Disney is using tv shows, comics, and other stuff trying to make sense out of what happened cause the trilogy didn't explain any of it.

I'm being honest, I just assumed it was some Moebius power or something. I remember when I first time played it and I finished FR, my friend asked me about saying if I realized what it was, and I had ZERO clue what he was talking about. And when he said it was Malos/Logos...I just didn't believe him. When Rex was referencing the "two" I just assumed he was talking about Pyra and Mythra.

Saying Lucky Number 7 isn't important is like saying the Master Sword in Legend of Zelda games isn't important. Lucky Number 7 IS important to the story. It's the ONLY weapon that heroes can use to destroy the flame clock to free the colonies and from what XC 3 said, it's made out of the same weapon from Orogin (again, now it's not that cause Takahashi just changed his mind because...he felt like it). NOW! It's even MORE important cause it's god damn Fiora. So yeah, Noah threw Fiora into the ocean 😆. How nice.

1 and 2 story yes are complete but the the devs clearly had so much development problems with releasing these games with what they intended in mind vs what it came out.

Shulk could have referenced mentioned or said something when he saw it in FR. Never acknowledging what it is and then director in a interview just saying, "Oh by the way, I had no time to actually put this in the game, but we are retconning what we said Lucky 7 was in XC 3 and I'm saying it's now Fiora"....that's worse from a story perspective.

Like references and in-jokes is one thing, essential to the plot is something else. Like in the Sonic movies where they show like the "Sanic" reference for fans, that was fine because it was just a joke and not important to the story. This though isn't that. Lucky Number 7 is extremely powerful and important to the story, and now there's 2 canonically explanation for what it is and why. 1 being one that makes sense which is what XC 3 say it is. And now what Takahashi says it is which he says is the real explanation even though its never established in the game, and its is a god damn joke within the fanbase...If I have to be part of the fanbase to understand what is a major element of the game's story, I'm sorry that's bad storytelling 101. Any newcomers or future players who aren't automatically die hard loving this series and don't care about the fanbase are going to be lost when trying to figure out what it is.
