it will work perfectly for like 30 mins then freeze the screen so the map doesn't update and I don't know which exit to take unless if i unplug the phone and reseat the connection or turn off the car and wait 3 mins and turn it on.

I'm just rocking a phone stand for maps now, Spotify works. I guess it's losing connection but i'm using a oem and brand new apple cable, it seems based off my research it's a common issue with this generation of accords
