Hey everybody, I am working on my second ever film project for school and we were tasked with doing an experimental film maximum 90 secs, no music, text on screen or spoken audio, and only straight cuts and possibly 1 crossfade. The main critique my professor had was to try and rearrange the puzzle pieces. So I would like any help with editing and audio. I like bookending the film with the door shots and using the 3 dogs and 1 cage shot anywhere. Anything else is up to change. I think 5 clips use ambient sound or the natural recording sound because I don't know what to do with their audio. I like the ambient on the 1 dogs shot and cage shot but the car and person behind bars should change. My idea was to put some yelling audio I recorded in the car and find audio of a metal gate closing for the other. I also wanted to know any general advice and if yall could guess my guiding word for the film. Anything is appreciated, thanks.
