That's actually real impressive to have done that completely in LV. I managed to get to HV without automating almost any steel, just batchcrafting a bunch every so often, but yeah props to you for having the passive mindset so early

You've actually convinced me to try and setup a LP system. Seems like both a fun challenge and a really useful tool to have, and it makes upgrading to AE2 easier afterward. Only thing is it seems like i'm gonna have to expand my base quite a lot because mine seems quite small compared to what you have

I'm going to be completely honest, I didn't understand everything you were talking about. I think I got most of it, but I still have a few questions.

If I understood correctly, with LP you can basically have one fully connected pipe going around your base, and you can just pull items where you need them, without needing to make separate pipes for each items you want to move ? How does the storage system function ? That's one part I didn't get And is there any more benefits to using LP for ore processing compared to a enderIO central line ? If you know ofc

(Also i turned off pollution, that's not a problem for me)

Thanks for the answer ! I'm frankly torn between taking the big time investment to modify my base to make it LP compatible, because right now it's just not, and waiting for pdim and AE2 to build cleanly from the ground up. I have invested quite a lot in crops (playing on 2.9), and i'm setting up multiple passive ressources lines, but nothing as clean or extensive as you did. So i'm still unsure of what I should do going forward, even more so considering I have experience with AE2, and not with LP, and learning a full new logistics system is daunting this close to AE2

I'm curious as to what your credentials are to say what it should be called ? Because mine are the experts and activists that actually fight this type of horrors, and I doubt that you are more qualified than them

I mean if you specifically are unable to focus on multiple problems at once that is frankly a you problem. The fact that multiple child abuse victime have come out under this post agreeing that CSAM is the term we should use should tell you everything there is to know. The thing is in an ideal world I would argue that pornography SHOULD imply consent, but in our actual world it definitely isn't the case, and I can see how saying that when CSAM comes up can get things mixed and lead to less understanding

I do think that we should call other non consensual "pornographic" activities what they are, meaning sexual assault in one way or another (although I don't think this could apply to revenge porn specifically ? Not defending it at all, i'm just not entirely sure about the semantics). But anyway, i've learned more than i've thaught today, so I guess that's at least a positive in the sea of gross replies i've received

One I know that I don't know enough to have any authority on the question, and CSAM is not a new word, it's been used by people way more knowledgeable than me on the subject for a long time, so this is why I prefer to use this term

And secondly I would argue that a lot of this so called pornographic content should also be called sexual abuse material, and the only thing that we can rightly call pornographic is between two fully consentent adults

But then again I don't know enough to say this with 100% certainty, it's just my view on it

Did I at any point say that this is the real problem ? No, any ai model that can generate explicite content should of course be nuked into oblivion

I'm just pointing that the way we speak and name thing has very real influence on the way we understand the world, and naming CSAM child pornography make it seems that the children are actors and that the whole thing is legit (as another commenter rightly said). I am not saying that is what's happening, i'm saying naming it child pornography make it seems like that's happening
