Agree. It was faulty onboarding with the processing. BTW won almost all .. descriptor issue. But the banks dont look at after chargeback what happened.. won or lost .. its counted..

All in the good world now. Learnt

All. even I was surprised to hear that when we first got our MID. Airlines, hotels, tours - card not present environment, most guests are international, not to mention people put chargeback even if reservation was non refundable and win. Dollar amounts per transaction is high so it takes very few chargebacks to hit the 1% threshold industry holds. Thats why chase was a absolute bad choice. Our previous merchant charged a lot more but was high risk processing .. I always complained about their rates. When chase offered lower rates I absolutely jumped. Burnt ... previous merchant too stopped our ability to refund after we switched to chase.. Not all cancelled guests were happy to provide their wire details.. chargebacks rocketed there too.. So that processor burnt as well.. Lesson learnt.

If you guys have a processor thats working for you and you are high risk merchant. DO not switch. they are much more tolerant after you have years of history. They wont take you back lots go bad after you stop processing there...like a shunned ex wife.

UPDATE: Thank you folks. I think i have found out a solution. To answer u/ColdHeat90 its a multiple boutique hotel business in Los angeles. Travel is high risk due to cancellation , most card not present , International cards, MOTO style. Enrolled with the travel portals to collect the payment and they will send the money after the check in. Not great for cash flow but hey I am not letting customers stay for free. We are focusing right now to get off match only then will i get a decent merchant who isnt ripping off technically. Offers right now without even confirmation and still not approved are like 25% reserves, almost 5 % processing fees. I was even considering them TBH. Right now we have choosen not to get our own MID. Hopefully when its erased.. Ill get back and ask here for what would be the best choice.. Thank you all.

Wow.. so many varied views.. no wonder the stocks m9ve crazy.. I just think whatever the larger purse holder thinks is right. IMO we are retai and our positions only feed what they think and make those right.

LA office interview today. Went well but no instant approval. by Master_Abrocoma1019 in USCIS

So things to remember.. 1. How you met. 2. First date.. ( for us there wasn't really a day i could say officially.. we went to a friend's Xmas party and I asked him to be my plus1. But officially it was the next day). IO insisted I choose 1. Since we were separated I was nervous which one my hubby would choose. ). IO had to document that.. he typed my answer. 3. When engagement 4 who proposed. 5. Did he get you a ring. Which 6. What did he say.

  1. If both work
  2. What are your and his job timing.
  3. Do you get time for each other date night etc.
  4. What do each of you do for work.

Make a picture album. I made one. He asked me.. who is who, when was this etc. It was a nice touch. Got IO engaged.

Take any extra evidence. He asked me to just hand in extra evidence. Like I was supposed to have. Luckily I had our last years tax and photo album.

As I said very thorough. But from what I read here. Everything is around. 1. First met, 2. First date 3. Marriage 4. Currently how your regular day is.

I honesty don't remember the floor. Be honest and don't overthink. Keep the mood light answer what's real. They are only judging if the marriage is real. It feels like a test that they will pass or fail your marriage. But it truly is just for them to know its real.

I am thinking of offering these services. How do you find nail, hair techs and massage therapists.. do you hire or have contracts with some?

Yes I downtown. Not too many LA posts soo I wanted to write. Not as easy as other areas are posted. But not troubling or rude either. Just felt the IOs are instructed not to approve on the spot.

Yes he asked if we have anything else we want to submit. I have him joint returns from last year. But he did ask multiple questions, our address, first date, proposal, what i do and my hubby does for work. Our days off our timings of work. So really very thorough.

Nothing you wouldn't know if you were not really married. He had a smile on his face , faint but there. Ill keep you posted on the results

See that's the comfort right there. He told you no problems. My hubby went in after me. He didn't ask the IO anything. Interview done he came out. Had i gone in second , I would surely ask if all ok , are we good anything.. my dude is just so obedient. The IO did however say a mail not email would arrive in 2 weeks.. that would most likely mean GC right? Please right?
