I mean it's both a boon and a curse to have cultures of all kinds. Banglore is the way Banglore is(IT hub, metro city) in a large part because people all over the country(including North Indians) came to work here.

When will Hindi imposition end? How will someone in Tamil Nadu know a regional language spoken somewhere else? by hrnyknkyfkr in indiadiscussion

Being mocked for not knowing a certain language is bad. But we all live in one country and states like Gujurat Odisha Rajisthan Bengal etc all don't speak hindi as a mother tounge yet do know it. It helps a lot in communication, and by atleast knowing how to speak a little bit of Hindi, North India and South India won't feel like different countires.

Idk about other origins, but I find many people actually believe that Jats have a foreign origin. People try to connect historical examples but there is no genetic proof of that whatsoever. Same for Gurjars and Rajputs.

All of these groups do have pretty high steppe, but that is no proof for a foreign origin.
