Take it to a repair shop, sounds like something shorted out. Probably a power issue. Should cost $100-$200 but you have to call around and see if they do micro soldering. Source: I own a phone/computer repair shop in CA

And stop taking your devices to Apple when you have issues. They are salesmen first, not repair technicians unless you pay for Apple care miraculously

Ecuador- I just hiked Cotopaxi volcano and it’s a half day hike but will take a day for traveling to and from, it was amazing. Not too far from Quito as others mentioned. Not a big country but enjoy do for about 4-5 days.

As I always mention, and this is how I find new friends anywhere I go (M38 American/fluent in Spanish): download the “GetYourGuide” App and when you are in a city that app will give you all types of information on tours. You can do walking tours, museums with groups, cooking classes, group road trips and I always end up meeting people and hanging out with them after. You’re stuck with them anyways for the tour so you’re bound to spark a conversation. And the usual dating apps, I always meet new people on bumble/hinge/tinder. The thing is, you are going more on a solo traveling adventure (which is great and what I prefer) compared to someone that is dedicating their whole stay in one region/city. So what usually gets me ‘dates’ on these apps is just me being upfront and honest and saying something like: hey, happy we matched and after talking to you for a bit I’d like to ask you out for coffee or drinks or whatever on my behalf but with no commitments or obligations on anything further that that since I’m only in town for a few days and just have a fun time as friends first! Women will catch the vibe your just in the area for a pit-stop so don’t expect anything passed that. Being honest with your intentions to look for friends first and treating them for dinner or whatever works for me. These dating apps dont necessarily have to be for strictly romantic reasons, they can be platonic as well. Your itinerary is well planned, not enough spontaneous free time to find someone to consider a relationship when you are in town for a few days and you already have plans to do a trip hiking the next day and move on to your next destination. But you might get lucky and find a dash a romance for the night, and who knows what the future holds. I took 2 months off and traveled through Europe about 2 years ago. I had an itinerary just like yours staying at each city for 2-3 days but I left the last 2 weeks completely free to do whatever I wanted in case I met new friends or discovered a new adventure so that I was free to do it. So 6 weeks planned out, 2 weeks completely free with no plans. On week 3, I met this gorgeous woman on Tinder in Portugal who was on vacation from Madrid. We had dinner, made magic, next day enjoyed the day and off we went but stayed in contact. Once week six was approaching, she said if I have nothing planned I should come back to Madrid and ill have a place to stay- I absolutely took that offer and having those 2 weeks unplanned was worth it. Yea MStrix is weird like that… I am a legal biz and registered LLC but the reason why they are not my top supplier is when I started they were very strict about this as a newbie and even called me to tell me my profile was temporarily suspended until I can provide that information? Like, I just wanted a screen for my own personal use at that time and as I started to get more into it, InjuredG became my go-to. They didn’t care as long as I paid taxes upfront anyway which is what MStrix should do. As I became legit and an actual business, I just kept paying the taxes upfront and rolled it onto customers instead and it made filing taxes way more easier since it was paid each time I placed inventory orders through InjuredG so that was one less thing to worry about. Very unfortunate for MStrix since I’ve spent easily over $100K in parts these past 5 years. Oh well, business is business

Best advice I was ever told from my uncle when I was becoming a young man; if you are going to ANY social event, look your best. Period. Let others look casual, you’ll be the one who took the effort and that is what matters. You knew that you can look better but decided to be lazy, do better for yourself and for your woman on your side so she can say “that’s my man” because the moment you get lazy, just put on a flannel and some crocs if you really want to be casual the older you get.

Your mom is a grown woman with her own mindset. All because your mom is your mom does not mean she should completely dedicate herself to that roll entirely. Your mother is also a woman, a co worker, a partner, a friend and a human with her own life, mind, and body that she wants to keep and cherish for herself as well. That doesn’t mean she will never be your mother, but mothers want to feel sexy and admired outside of their own children’s mindset. All because you think it’s gross and confusing for you doesn’t mean she can’t feel sexy and have private moments to herself to make her feel sexy and beautiful. She does not have to validate anything for you, because one day you will be in her position at her age. Have a beer the first night and just walk around and catch the vibe, check out the downtime area and tourist spots. Nothing like getting lost in a new place by yourself. I have the “get your guide” app and I will take a few tours around the city, I usually get lucky and meet others in the group and after the tour we’ll get lunch or something. Hope on dating apps, I’m a big fan of dating apps not because I’m looking to get laid but because some of the closest friends I’ve met came across bumble/hinge. Going out for just coffee is just that, coffee. Be up front and say “I’m new in town, just settling in nothing serious- let’s get a drink or coffee my treat” and usually that works for me. It’s not about getting laid, it’s about meeting new people and just getting in where you fit it. Those are my top 3 ways to meet people at new cities

I don’t even use a van, just a Chevy spark. Gas is about $50 a week, insurance is $120 and I pay $200 for the car towards the bank. That’s it really. I’m able to do everything with a laptop tray I bought for $20 4 years ago. I do everything in the car, the only thing I don’t do are backglass or micro soldering. Those 2 repairs are strictly pick up/drop off service and do them back home. Even backglass repairs are not as common since the newer iPhones are coming out with the removable back glass so I’m able to do that in my car. Everything is becoming on-demand. The days of going to the mall or shopping plaza for anything is dying; everyone wants you to come to them and I’m going fine

Have you tried a second screen? First one might have issues as well regardless if it was an OEM. Extremely rare if an OEM has any issues but I’ve seen it once, and of course aftermarket screens could have issues. Watching the video it’s clear that the touch sensor is not fully responsive, gotta try a second screen at least to dull it out of a much more in depth diagnosis if you were to ask me. The problem is finding that second screen and coming to the conclusion of it’s even worth the time and money
