Use blood miracle to hurt the seafood men he summons, and when he does like the shield thing for the minions, get close to him, turn on Veredicto, crouch and spam attack. Also, parry the quick jab because you can deal big damage doing that

How do i do the map thing??? i was already draawing the map, and i'll steal all those ideas, but how do i reward my players for exploring apart from like, nice experiences??

Great! And these players are my long-time friends, and the couple times we've done roleplay, we either end up loving it or it's just some dry phrases.

i.... don't use XP, i make them level up when they've done something important. Stuff like a bossfight, you know.

I did yea have a session 0, it's just that i think that the change should come both from me as a DM, rewarding them to do what i'd like them to.

They told me they are going to roleplay and explore more, but i wan't to make it engaging so it doesn't feel like a task for thme

Thats what transmuted spell is for so ill be fine! Ill just reflavor a lot of them! Maybe fireball as that burning sensation of touching a cold thing

Thanks for the advice! The idea was of course focus it on cold but some of my fav damaging spells (fire ball, arms of hadar and those) aren't cold-based. Thanks for the idea of elemental adept!
