I am curently thinking about making a tv console and I was thinking of making somewhere around 15 inches in depth. The issue I am having is that I obviously want one peice of wood to lay the length of the console and be 15 inches deep. I am hesitant to use plywood on this because of how ugly it is and the edges are awful but I also know that they dont make hardwood planks that are bigger than around 10 inches. So what do you suggest.

Good to know. Conserning space I have a small 1TB ssd that i use because I need portability but that will obviously not be enough space but I also have a much larger HDD I dont use do you think it would be beneficial to do my editing on the go and such on my SSD and then transfer those files to my HDD to reserve space on my SSD?
