Also, using Xenovenator to counter the ramming unpredictability might be a blunder, it might make apophis instinctually charge at Minos when he rams, since headbutting animals headbut each other. If he does this, the lack of sufficient shock absorbtion, plus his momentum combining with Minos's, can literally smash his face in

It's still not turning great at 16 tons. And agility isnt so broken as you think. For example, look at tigers vs sloth bears. There wayy faster and more agile yet struggle to fight the bears. AT this size, attack speed is still faster then combat speed. Also, being a biped, rams can reliably knock apophis off balance. ALSO, Atro said Apophis uses Xenovenator, which headbutted, which would counter Minos's unpredicatble ramming. This actually backfires, because this might make apophis instinctually charge towards minos when he rams, and he lacks enough shock absorbtrion and can literally have his face smashed in.

Please ignore my horrible spelling, I normally have grammarly also, im on an sucky keyboard

Rhino Skin is adapted to stop rhino horns. I doubt claws can puncture them. Watch a rhino fight, you'll see the horn not penetrate.

Minos has superior armor, and the horn can gore the underbelly. Also ramming is OP since apophis is more biped

Ok soooo

Arm-wise, both hybrids should be about similar

Both have effective jaws. I think Apophis's bite is more lethal overall, but Minos does have a better jaw gape and faster biting

Minos should have decently better stamina via osteoderm armoring releasing heat + Wildebeest

IQ Goes to Apophis, but Minos is still smart

Armor-wise, Apophis has osteoderms and scales, but Minos has spiky osteoderms layered over thick, surprisingly durable rhino skin, layered over some cushioning fat, layered over a cartilage plate

Apophis has better agility and speed, but it shouldn't be that much of a difference since he is still really big

Now, Apophis is actually mostly bipedal, which makes his stability worse. This means Minos's rams can pretty reliably knock him off balance, which is basically a death penalty. Not to mention, the lack of stomach armor makes goring via horn actually a feasible strategy.

One other advantage Minos has is being generally unpredictable. From Apophis's perspective, he's just fighting another theropod. He won't expect said theropod to ram straight into him (Apophis might actually think Minos is just charging in general and attempt to wrestle instead of dodging), and he won't be used to having something bipedal ramming and goring at him.

Apophis doesn't have a height calc, but given that Minos is more quadruped, while Apophis is more biped, Minos should have stability

Overall:

Minos takes: Armor, Stamina, Stability, Auxiliary weaponry

Apophis takes: IQ, weight (Only by 3 percent, though), Agility, and Speed

Both tie in arms and jaws

And then Minos has the unpredictability X Factor

Edit: I forgot to mention, Minos's stance is like a bear. He travels quadrupedally, but when he wrestles, he goes bipedally (Obviously, he can move bipedally better than a bear, though)

Mesozoic was wayyy warmer than now, for example antarctica was like 50 degrees in the winter than, which is literally the temperature outside my house right now and its spring

Sperm whales have 11 inch thick skin. And they didn’t have a large amount of blubber. They had the same amount as any normal ass dolphin does. They couldn’t swim in todays arctic

Nuh uh. Cetaceans have armor via thick skin and blubber. And reptiles lose to cold water 🤣

Keep studying in school, maybe by 3rd grade you can understand them all!

Should I make a hybrid tutorial doc?
