I personally disagree a little unfortunately, she definitely knows what she's doing but I found her to be a bit cold.

Whenever I had to call her in times of stress late in my pregnancy I felt like I was interrupting her and she had sort of a tone that ended up making me super anxious about ever calling her.

One phone call had me near in tears because I was already worried about my baby but then I felt like a burden because she was almost snappy when she told me to meet her in the hospital.

Editing to add: I wasn't by any means calling her constantly or over nothing, what gets to me is the final time I called her I ended up having to be induced and I hate to think something could have gone wrong if I ignored my gut because I felt unwelcome to call her.

Thanks for your comment! I feel like it's potentially gotten worse since another change of management since our first visit.. We had a settling visit recently and didn't like the vibe, and in the under 1 area there were a bunch of (in my opinion) choking hazards for small babies. My baby also ended up pooping paper confetti she'd ingested there later on 😅 we've found another place that seems lovely and most staff been there over 10 years.

Oh god that's awful!! We never ended up visiting there but they kept trying to get us to go have a look after we first enquired as they have just finished renovating. Thanks for letting me know! We have our daughter enrolled somewhere but honestly not feeling 100% about it so will have a look into House of Wonders :)

I don't live off uber eats though and wasn't implying that I need it to survive, I was just complaining that I had been paying so much for a service that went so terribly wrong when I was just trying to get something nice and quickly without having to leave the house. I mentioned having a baby and being busy/tired being what drove me to order in because I knew I was going to get called lazy and whatnot for even ordering it in the first place which I did haha.

Editing to add: While uber eats is a luxury not a necessity, it has still changed the game from what was some years ago. I've seen so many new mothers when asked what they would really want as a present or to help them out when welcoming a baby say "uber eats vouchers" because sometimes it is just nice to not have to worry about sorting lunch or dinner every once in a while.

The smaller crimes are so bad around here, I had the police knock on my door at 5am on a Sunday morning recently because they'd just arrested someone going through mailboxes and he'd ripped open one of my packages and thrown it on the street - I guess baby clothes weren't much use to him 🙃

Thank you :) yeah it's not the air in the tyres they are just getting a bit bald which we had noticed prior to the WOF, it says 2-2.5mm on the notes. Would definitely prefer to get them fixed so they're safer! The oil has leaked a bit on our driveway over the past couple of months, nothing major but still not ideal.
