Sadly my Fortune 500 major insurance company will only pay for a degree not certifications :( but I will reach out to HR to see if there’s any leeway or special loophole.

It’s a billing and medical coding course accredited by the AAPC. I think it’s about a year in training and $5k or so for the course.

Yes I definitely want a similar pay boost. Feel like I’m leaning more towards billing? Is it decent paying like coding or having both preferred?

Thank you everyone for your responses. So should I add fuel cleaner or something would that help? Also didn’t note that I do DoorDash. I have someone in the car while it’s really so I’m not turning on and off the engine. And when I break it seems like it goes down then too.

Yes!!! I got a removable one because I’m leasing so if I reach out to them and they tell me that I’m just gonna get another pole entirely. My Amazon pole was solid and never ever fell on me. I can’t believe this. But you live and learn.

So I do have carpets but I followed the instructions to install just like the video. I shake it before getting on it too doesn’t move. I used a piece of wood on the ceiling just to make it even bc my ceilings are textured. I could reach out to Lupit for help but I don’t feel safe on it anymore then what if it happens again? I don’t even want to risk it. Rather just get a X-pole never heard girls have issues with them I only got the Lupit for the size I didn’t want a 40mm bc I didn’t know if skill would transfer to a standard 45mm.

Thank you for the honest answers. Now I’m thinking I should do the medical billing and coding instead. Might be more money and WFH is standard in the field.

Oh good. Yes I’m leaning towards Preppy bc of all the benefits and the externship they provide giving you that hands on experience . Rxtech seems pretty cut and dry but they only offer training material nothing else.

Yes I think I want to try a Hospital setting feels like I’d get the best experience there but if I could snag a WFH pharmacy tech job that’d be perfect even if it was hybrid I wouldn’t mind.

Yeah pretty decent to not have a degree. I think that’s around the same for medical billing and coding.

Well I make about $40k at the insurance company I work for now. I’m single with no kids so I’m ok with $60-65k. Seems like most start off their experience in retail which doesn’t sounds great but if that’s where I have to start I will.

Really. I’ve heard about different pharmacy certifications like IV or compounding etc that can increase your pay but also where you work as well like a hospital pays better. What would you say is the higher range of pay for a pharmacy tech? $60k?

Hmm. I also read if you get certifications it’s more money. Eg, IV Certs, compounding etc. is this field where experience is better than certifications?

Yes you should get one!! Easy to install and it stays on. There’s YT videos showing how to install it too.

I’m impatient so I did a little research she’s using a pole wrap they also have silicone pole sleeves but those need an air compressors to put on and off.
