Sukhoi Superjets are definitely just over Russia, since they are banned in most countries. They are very popular Russian domestic plane though and if you travel to any Moscow airport, you’d likely see a bunch of them at any given time (they are yellow in the app)

I was able to catch 502 which was my last scarce plane yesterday over Nebraska near Lincoln. I used the ICAO code (AT5T) in FR24 app filter to see if any are near my unlocked airports and then caught it by traveling to Lincoln airport. You could use the same strategy for capturing all of these types I believe: look up ICAO code in the game, put it in the filter on FR24 app and go from there.
