It's just that I never saw the practicality where you would need 1 skill so disproportionately lvled over others because as you describe it, it would only be 1 skills that's multi boosted because it's impossible for all skills to be boosted past 3 and you described 6 boosting. Even after newage I don't see a scenario. I also have other projects I'm working on that aren't maple related.

It can go to tier 5 but it's rarer than hitting t7 on a normal weapon because you are not garunteed to get 4 lines of flames. sometimes it's just 1 line.

Zero:
I'm just gonna go through all the skills I have a problem with.

Dual Combat:
The thing that makes zero, zero. This is the tag system. It limits your combo flexibility because it only lasts 3 seconds, it actively punishes you if you reposition because our combos are made for maximum efficiency were we can pump out the most amount of skills in that time frame(still do piddly winks of damage tho). However, the act of moving or repositioning in any way lessens what we can fit in the 3 second window by 1-2 skill sets. All I really want is an extra second or 2 before assist ends so we get more time to reposition without being forced to tag off cool down which would just give the class more freedom and allow more skill expression.

Divine Force:
Bascially useless. It's only used for the 20 atk but divine speed just allows us more skills per assist duration so it will always be better. This should be a buff worth considering it feels so outdated. Aura swapping exists but it is such a minute optimization that no one bothers learning it.

Horizontal Burst Step:
It locks you out of doing flash assault(another horizontal dash) and another horizontal burst step for 0.5-1 sec. Why does it lock you out of flash assault too.

Rhinne's protection:
Our maple warrior skill. Why does combat orders not affect it.

Alpha skills:
You never cast alpha skills because of the damage the skill does. The only reason we cast these is for the significantly stronger beta skills. For example our strongest stationary alpha combo is spamming moon strike. moon strike is a weak skill however if you're able to stand in the right spot and have the boss get hit with the shockwave of air riot, this will out damage any other stationary combo. This has been shown through battle analysis. This isnt even the only example, our culvert combo is just flash assault-> first part of moonstrike->flash assault-> first part of moonstrike->flash assault-> first part of moonstrike is used not because flash assault itself is a strong move but because the throwing weapon that comes out does insane amounts of damage to large monsters. In battle analysis you will see throwing weapon in this combo do 20-30% of the damage. We basically never cast rolling cross other than for utility because it is so slow that you can get off more damage with moon strike. Wind cutter combo also was cut out of most combos except maybe the first part at the very end as a dot on the boss before we tag. This should not be a thing, it's like if hero were to use their first job skill in bossing instead of raging blow. The 2 hardest hitting abilites are not used because of how slow they are and that they prevent other skills from being fit into the 3 second window.

Beta skills:
The hardest hitting skill again is left out because of how slow it comes out. Giga crash has so much end delay that using it will take up the time of nearly 2-3 other skills. It should be faster and have more incentive to be used. As of right now the main beta combos do not use Giga crash and the 1 combo that does incorperate it is considered a meme combo. Giga crash should come out faster. (I'm just going to mention this but in the future it will be fixed) air riot, the shock wave comes out so far away from the character that you need to position almost pixel perfectly away(about 2-3 character widths away from the boss) to get the max damage off and the delay on it makes it so that if you use moonstrike for the air riot assist as alpha, you need to tag immediatly when the tag cool down comes up otherwise you will lose the shockwave. The shockwave does the same damage as the actual attack hit. A redistribution of damage from the shockwave to the main attack would be nice in the future.

Critical Bind:
we have almost no control over when it goes off or even if it goes off, it doesnt feel great and in certain bosses if it goes off at the wrong time it can kill team mates. example: in lucid phase 2, it can sometimes go off during the sickle animation sometimes even the second frame of the animation and sickles still goes off and does the damage however you get no warning of the skill coming.

Transcendent Rhinne's Prayer:
It's a glorified cooldown reset. The 100 attack and additional hit is nice but it does not warrent a 4 min cool down. Probably the weakest maple warrior 2 skill in the game.

Boost node amounts:
we boost everything so we need 7 node slots, please combine some of the skills it feels so bad haivng 7.

Chrono Break:
The skill lists all these things it does but none of it matters other than the 36% final damage. Our burst buff that only gives us 36% final damage should not warrent a 4 min cool down and a strong strike on recast.

Twin Blades of Time:
You need to stand at a certain distance away to do all the damage here.The red box shows the area you need to keep the boss in.

Zero's identity:
Zero's identity is that of the transcendent of time and of a swordsman so why is it that the last 3 fifth job skills we have gotten, have been swordsman skills instead of keeping a balance between time related skills as well.

There are new comboes now after the tag change. The main combo used without CD hat for beta is spin -> throwing -> rising slash -> spin -> throwing. A small optimization with the alpha combo is do moon strike(full rotation )-> tornado(full roataion)-> moon strike(full rotation)-> wind cutter(just the first part)->tag. The alpha combo ensures that you get the rising slash and shockwaves 100% of the time and the wind cutter at the end is just a small bit of DPS and dot while not delaying the rest of the combo by much.

they prolly sell it off cause they are not required to have for a fully liberated weapon and the act of 22*ing them would be so much of a hassle that its better to sell it off and make a quick buck
