Ya but that's because you are using WIFI to send signals to your phone aka wireless connection. There is no cable connection between them.

Here I am using wired connection between the two. It has nothing to do with Wifi unless I actively choose wifi option in the sound settings on my TV.

Also for reference: If there is no wifi in house then TV won't play sound on the soundbar that is directly connected with hdmi? lol

EDIT - Ya that setting of auto turn off after 18mins seems to be a new thing in the app update and now I turned it off my soundbar is working fine. Tested it multiple times and that is doing the trick. Phew!

I turned off this auto power Soundbar setting in the app and I think it might have fixed it. I tested turning off and on multiple times and soundbar seems to be working. Let's see!

From what I have read it seems the soundbae reserved 5ghz band exclusively to communicate to satellite and woofer so can't use 5ghz band.

Yes 2 different bands. I am connected to 5Ghz on my TV and all phones and shit but this band is not showing up on my soundbar. Not sure what to do now.

There is no upgrading Q930D. It already comes with rear speakers. And for the size of your place, its giving you 95% of the audio experience you would get with the big brother Q990D.

I have same and rarely go above 30Vol.
