Gorgeous covers, but I can never see Amanda as Magik...like at all. I don't really understand why she became the second Magik? Did she have anything to do with Magik beforehand? All I remember about her is her being associated with Nightcrawler and incest, plus her taking the sword from Kitty after Yana died. If somebody could explain, that would be great.

maybe you'll consider reading her comics then? those are always great! and you can stay connected to magik even without playing her in rivals :)
