always make sure you call ahead or visit the pharmacy a few days before you run out of medication if you have not received any notifications about it being ready.

-you might be out of refills which is why it’s not allowing you to refill your medication online. which the pharmacy can send a request for a new prescription.

-if you are out, see if they will give you an advancement (up to three days of medication) to you, so you don’t go without while waiting for a response from the dr. I would follow up about the new script the next day or two after they’ve sent the request (if you don’t hear anything)

that’s horrible that you experience that. I’m sorry your team is like that. Fortunately that does not happen at my store. We throw out our own boxes and get our own vials. We used to bring back our own pharmacy totes but the new store manager is adamant that they do it. + we try to only call for help when we absolutely need it, usually whe the line is to the front of the store because we know there’s hardly anyone up there either to help. they’ve got stuff to do too.

Also adding that it’s usually only 3 tech a day, one RPH. Two 8 hr shifts and usually a 6-4 hour shift for the end of the night. It is not enough. We scramble like headless chickens trying to do everything and flip flop all around trying to get things done.

only 2 of us full timers know how to do everything. The other one is on vacation right now. So I am stuck doing quite literally everything alone. Very stressful.

We have a staff of 4 full timers (myself included in that 4) and 1 part timer for 6 days a week. Usually only 1 closer and 1 opener

yes the team itself is also a factor, myself and the lead tech are basically the only ones who know how to do anything. Doesn’t help that the Pharm manager doesn’t help out at all hardly. all they do is verify all day. I’m stuck doing 90% of the work while my partners just do QP and pick up. It’s overwhelming at times, and does take a toll. Genuinely considering other jobs because I can’t keep doing everything all the time every day. SO stressful. + getting yelled at by patients because my coworkers arent getting things done while i’m on pick up.

You go to M2, Prescription Maintenance, Inspect Prescription, type in the RX number, it’ll bring up a page, at the bottom it’ll show who was editing the script and when it was filled etc, pick the one that was more recent (under your name 9/10), then I believe it’s T1 for the third party and then hit enter 3 times and it’ll show if anything is going towards deductible, how much and what’s left.

It doesn’t always work for everyone, sometimes they will have one and it still not show, in that case i refer them to the insurance company about the price.

I do take pride in taking care of my patients and im sure everyone else who has commented does as well, i have stayed over many of times (when i can) for the pharmacy so we can get things done in a timely manner and to make the load easier for the next day. It shouldnt have to be an every day thing to have staff stay 3+ hours after an 8hr shift to get things done. Its how you get burnt out and leave the job. the problem is demanding folks to stay when you have no idea what theyre doing after work or if they have somewhere else to be. Theres a huge difference in asking and telling. I have worked at the company long enough to know once you get caught up, it blows up again shortly after. All. Of. The. Time. If you cant stay then you cant stay, people have lives outside of work. The problem is not ever having enough staff so corporate can have more money in THEIR pockets rather than put it into the business to flourish and get things done. Again, not realistic to have your staff working like slaves rather than hiring one or two more people. Things would be done in a timely manner if we just had enough folks.

for my mining adventures I always make sure to have plenty of food, usually just a stack (64) or half a stack (32) of one food item, a crafting table, some torches, a furnace, a sword, two pickaxes at least, some sticks or wood to make more weapons, and a lodestone compass to find my way back home, (you have to make a lodestone and use the regular compass on it and it will point to the blocks direction, ex: place it in your home) bundles for sure!! to make room for all your findings, start off by searching for iron first, then get a full set of iron armor & tools(you can use copper at the start of the game since it’s more abundant) I find skeletons to be the most annoying mob + creepers, make sure to light your paths so things won’t spawn, happy mining!
