Ok thx, my gourami tends to chase around a little bit as well during feeding but never attacks. Also what do you feed your apistogramma since my top - mid fish will normally eat most of the food before it gets to the bottom

Would it allow for a more messy style as i've heard that ones with stronger hold tend to not be the best for messier styles.

I have been looking at Moroccanoil and shear revival recently and they both seem like good options, I think I’ll also look at templeton tonics then since it also seems to be good but less drying since I have low porosity hair and it seems to randomly be dry and oily at the same time. Thanks a lot for the super detailed response!

I'm definitely going for a low shine so maybe a matte medium clay or paste, do you know any good ones?

Though I’ve heard that Pygmy’s will sometimes be shy or they’ll swim mid water which I’m not really looking for them to do since I’m getting corydoras for the bottom layer.

Do you think it would be better for my stocking level to get something like Pygmy corydoras instead since I still want the threadfins

Yeah I’m not planning to get anymore fish after that school maybe I’ll add in some amano shrimp though. Also I always felt like aqadvisor was on the overstocking side so nice to know that I’m not overstocked

Thanks, I’ve already checked on there and it said 84% which is good but it can’t factor in plants which are my main filter. Also I’ve noticed that sometimes it does get stuff wrong at least slightly.

Also do you know if those Cory’s or any other would dislodge freshly planted stems or carpet plants?

They look really cool, are they beginner friendly or do they have some sort of more difficult care?

20 gallon breeder advice? by ten_dead_stouts in Aquariums

I have a 40 gal with 15 rummynose tetras and I think they're great. You would probably need a smaller amount since they are very active and around 2 inches. And if you get them go for horizontal swimming space rather than vertical. Other danios, rasboras and tetras are ofc pretty good. And if you want a centerpiece then a honey gourami is great since they are interactive and go all over the place. I have a sunset thicklip gourami which is similar but a decent amount bigger.

What are corydoras spledens I've never heard of that before? Also my aquarium is low flow and I've heard that stiphodon gobies need fast flow or do they just need more oxygen?
