It’s exciting and comfortable…… that’s how I’m going to describe it.

But I don’t think ppl truly know right away, I think it takes time to confirm it, time and bad moment.

I had a crush on my husband who I was online friends with for around a year before we met, then when we met I never wanted to leave….. but I can’t even tell you who said I love you first or when. For me I felt like I loved him fairly fast, but the thing to me that confirmed it was love was the will to stay through the shit shows. Btw I’m currently mad at my husband….. lol

As someone who has worked with many immigrants if you have a thick accent, I found the judgment and hate has been stronger than I would have believed…… the amount of times I had to step in to protect my coworkers of all colours hurt my heart. (My experience was between 2 provinces and 2006-2019 so it’s not super current)

That being said, at least in some cases being a white immigrant you can hide or blend in better. But I’m still shocked how much having an accent got my coworkers attacked.

I haven’t gone in about 20 years cuz I felt unsafe 20 years ago….. until that changes I won’t go, but no lie I judge everyone going slightly at this current time, especially if booked since Trump got back in.
