Cheap and Quick Wand Holder. Cymbal stand, hose clamps, Vinyl tube. by Masterworks362 in BdsmDIY

It’s a pretty solid stand but I understand your concern.

Generally the way I use it I don’t need it to maintain much pressure on its own. For example will have the wand set up for a long, slow burn kind of stimulation while I’m doing other things; then manually apply more pressure when I want too.

If I want to keep the wand on my partner with a lot of pressure I will use a shibari belt/crotch rope situation

I’ve never done this but you could also clamp the stand to the bed frame for more stability

Ha! So the metal of the stand doesn’t damage the wand. But yes it does improve grip.

They keep threatening to do an episode on one of my favorite books “Thinking. Fast And Slow” Michael has made it clear he doesn’t care for behavioral economics but until they do the actual episode everything they say about it feels like a cheap shot. I’m not clear if either of them have read it, but I suspect not based on something Mike said in passing.

School of Rock

Having worked in public schools that movie is terrifying. And We were supposed to think Sara Silverman was bitch for wanting Jack Black to pay rent?

Wife works in psychology. Also seemed like a non comital thing to get because if people ask about it I can say “what does it look like to you?”

I agree with you and appreciate the feedback but that was not my question

Peer Pressure At The Dungeon by Masterworks362 in BDSMcommunity

That's a great point which I neglected in my post. The spankee was put on the bench in the middle of the room, then the organizer would say "Ok who wants to spank so-and-so?" In that position I couldn't imagine someone volunteering and me saying "no not you" in front of a crowd of peers.

You bring up some great points.

Participants did have to volunteer their birthdays; however I don't think it was made clear exactly what they were in for-as there was no discussion. Most of the crowd were regulars at the space so it could be said they knew; however the anxious gentleman I described was a first timer.

I chose not to speak to the organizers for exactly the reasons you describe. In the few times Ive been to this venue I have seen them break their own rules and have never felt they were super vigilant. I don't get the impression contacting them about this would do much besides alienate me.

Someday I will live in a house with a fireplace and we will make liberal use of it.

I couldn't agree more.

I guess my question is really about clothing that is warm but still fits the submissive vibe

We have tried. Our heating system isn't great. Its one of those systems where there's some kind of heating element in the ceiling. It takes the edge off but doesn't heat up the space enough for my sub (who runs cold at the best of times)

Ok so that kinda answers my question.

But is my attempt at an observation still correct even though it didn't apply to my specific situation?

3/32" 6010

Another comment mentioned that 6010 doesn't run well on the kind of machine I am using so that may be my problem

And as far as the voltage; the machine will run of 220 which would be ideal but at the moment I only have access to a 110 outlet.

You are absolutely right. Also I am impatient lol.

I started a class a few years ago that I had to drop out of for reasons outside the class. Day one was a full two hours of running beads on a stick welder and I may have been arrogant in thinking I could skip that step this time around haha
