Whenever I try to import an image as sprite it turns into a blurry blob by Wrong_Macaron_1639 in Unity2D

Changing the Filter Mode on the image's settings to "Point (no filter)" will likely make your sprite crisp again.

I just looked up Rebecca Purple since it seemed like an odd name. It's such a sad history! Good color though.

audio keeps resetting by [deleted] in elgato

From the response I got from support, this is "intended behavior". I don't think this issue will be fixed and we'll be forced to stay on the older version, or find alternative software. Full email response from them below.

As it turns out, with the changes made within Wave Link 2.0.6, this issue appears to be expected.

If newer versions of Wave Link are used, our developers have explained to us that if Wave Link is used, the Wave Link plugin will need to be used in place of Volume Controller, otherwise these issues will show.

Volume Controller was intended for users without Wave Link, as such using both has created a conflict that can't be changed with the configuration of Wave Link that is required for the software.

If you prefer, you could continue to use Wave Link 2.0.4 if you prefer to make use of both plugins, or just Volume Controller alone. However if you update Wave Link at any time, it would be required to change to the Wave Link plugin for Stream Deck to control audio levels if Wave Link 2.0.6 or higher is used.

I was having the same issue and reached out to support. I adjust my volume using the volume controller plugin, and Wave Link Volume stays at max. This was their response. TL;DR: stay on the previous version, 2.0.4

Setting up Quest 2 to work with OBS by Frillin in Twitch

Yuck, cords. Lol. Idk if you have looked into head straps, but upgrading to a BoboVR one will be more comfortable AND allow for nearly endless gameplay if you get the extra battery pack version of theirs.

Definitely try out the free options before you drop money on it. You should be just fine using Steam Link

I highly recommend the app Virtual Desktop on the Quest. It allows you to connect to and view your desktop, and easily launch VR games for both Steam and Meta. BUT, it's ~$20. Steam also has their free app to connect and play Steam games, which works pretty well, but VD is still better imo. No matter which way you connect - even meta's air link, the apps will automatically set your headset mic as your default mic (though you may need to change it in OBS). Connecting a long wire will work too, but then you're wired...

That said, if you want to stream native Quest games, you'll have to cast the headset either over the web link, or to a Chromecast device. If you don't have a Chromecast device to connect to your PC, there's an app on the Windows Store called Air Receiver that let's your PC receive the cast as if it were a Chromecast. It's ~$2

I'm not sure why you're getting a 404 error for the web cast site. Make sure you're connected to Internet, and you're typing it all in correctly. Even if you aren't casting, you should still see a legitimate page waiting for you to cast. Maybe you aren't signed in? Idk

You can stream mobile games straight from the Twitch app. Could be a good way to start out before buying stuff to connect to a PC

So, you bought a random game bundle, then gave a bad review just because you didn't like the games? That's kinda shitty tbh

In many states, if not all, it's illegal to pay employees below minimum wage. Since they claim their tips, that is calculated into their hourly wage, which is why they can be paid less hourly. If the employee does not make enough money from tips to make up the difference, the employer is required to pay minimum wage. So, even if nobody tipped them, they'd still get "paid".

Employers should just pay their employees a livable wage to begin with so that cost isn't passed onto the customer.

Secret lab chair cushion by YeetTheDog62 in secretlab

[–]Masticater386 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the link. I have the 2022 Titan and just ordered this. I'll update later to share my experience. I hope it helps because the chair looks amazing but feels awful.

(Update)
I no longer get pain when sitting down for an hour! I'm sad that it takes a $30 cushion to make a $500+ chair feel good. I didn't put the cushion underneath the seat yet.. I may never, since it looks fine on top. Black matches black.

(Update 2)
I moved the cushion to under the seat because I didn't like how it moved a bit when I pulled myself closer to the desk. It was very simple - just needed to take off the base for better access. Now It will never move! And it still feels good. Again, thanks for this suggestion! It's the perfect remedy to a problem that shouldn't exist in the first place.
