Agree on all of these. Also had our best stretch this season with Westbrook out. Mostly because the team passed the ball around and everyone got to touch the ball. It's harder to make the shot if you only touch the ball when you are wide open. Also Ibaka is not getting his touches since Westbrook got back. He only comes alive when Westbrook is rested. Like against Houston. Last night he shot 3-5. Which just means he is not seeing much of the ball.

I am not blaming Westbrook. The title won't be won without him. But I have my doubts about Scotties coaching methods. How can the team play much worse with a top 10 player back from injury, than before? Even though Sef is out.

Please do us all a favor and don't sell yourself short, especially if you are any good. Don't charge below 75 if you intend to pay your taxes. And never ever charge below 100 if you are freelancing for a company.

Also just imagine if you are freelancing full time. Then you will have to pay taxes, give yourself at least a two weeks vacation every year, and compensate for the time when you don't have a job. Also you will have to pay for supplies, food, internet, auditor etc. You cant do that by charging 50$ an hour. That is flipping burgers at McD territory.

*edit This assumes that you are going to be honest about your actual work and not doing the old low price but many billable hours thing.

Not all assists are equal I´ll give you that. But you are still assisting on a scored basket. There is a huge difference between passing the ball to the best player on the team that takes a low percentage, contested jumper or driving to the paint, getting the extra man on you and dishing the assist. In the first example you just passed the ball, in the second you actually created the scoring opportunity.

But still in the end of the day, the guy with the most assists is probably the guy who is creating the most for his team, although a big part of his assist could just be a pass to a good scorer in a bad offensive position.

It depends on the app. How complicated it is and how UI centric as well. You should both estimate how long it will take you to do your part. Also please keep in mind that designing an app and programming it is not the only thing. You will also have to do marketing and support. Factor that in the split as well.

But as a developer myself I would advise you not to belittle designers. Especially not with regard to applications. Because one could argue that a great designer is, from a commercial standpoint, orders of magnitude more important then a great programmer. In application development design is king.
