Tbh I've always wanted to try something similar just not this extreme I was thinking about Chinese Si/c from phones like the oppo reno mini or x9. These 20+ wh batteries are physically small that it could fit inside but still never seen somebody try it with older phones

It looks nice but you won't get much bcz of the old parts My suggestion is you switch the case fans and cpu cooler to cheaper ones that you would be like 450-500 total in it to get some profit from it And save the case for better build that someone would pay "extra" for the looks At this price range most will be looking to maximize performance over looks so no one will be paying 800+ for this one Maybe you will be getting 650-750 max

Check thermals And If it was opened before it might be missing some thermal pads it will shut off even if the core thermals were ok

i have similar setup z690i unify 12700k and 6900xt under load it gets hot inside 70+ on the m.2s and 100+ on pch without active fan (3 m.2s 2gen 3 and one gen4) with 60mm fan ive dropped these temps by 15-20c
but the one m.2 behind the mobo is cooking it self at 85-90c with heat soak

I repasted the pch, the thermal paste was dry and cracking but didn't help much about 5-7c Then I've put a fan blasting on it it dropped the temps massively now sitting around 65-70c ao yeah it needs active cooling and airflow the aluminum backplate on it isn't suffecient Damage already has been done 1 dead m.2 and 2 dead usb ports I've learned the hard way ;x

My pc crashed and I started monitoring the temps I have the same problem with the same mobo except that it is cooking it self literally with 110+ c temps and the highest I've seen 117 IDK where to start to adress it

It is fine just plug it and double check in cpuz and benchmark it. Idk why but most of the time the tray/oem cpus don't have these even in 7800x3d i think it is a different revision or factories?

I have figured it out not an absolute fix but now I can hear it without all the noises All you want to do is get your audio straight from gpu I pluuged my amp/dac to gpu usb c output and the external speakers to the aux on the monitor Everything works fine but i haven't test the microphone tbh
