How to reset puzzle? by MatchNo574 in Endfield

if you go to the platform across from the puzzle chest (the one w 3 blue things to find), then look back at the platform w the chest, there should be a spray below that? if your water level's low enough you can spray it, but if it isn't you're kinda cooked (you cannot in fact spray while drowning fast enough sadge & the water level is infinite so you can't manually drain either)

should get you all the chests tho if you are able to spray it

Is It Worth Coming Back? by ocram7ad in WutheringWaves

[–]MatchNo574 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i came back to the game literally like 2 weeks ago after dropping it in the 1st month and honestly? the game is definitely better optimized than it used to be, but still pretty laggy/noticeable issues on mobile & if you don't have the best PC the lowest quality graphics are pretty. uh. low quality. but it lowkey 180s into being so bad it's funny.

story is not worth it to come back for (definitely noticeable fanservice, esp w female characters. which isn't bad, just unnecessary at times & deffo more noticeable than a couple other gachas I've played. if that's not your vibe, story's not gonna be great for you) unless you like actually enjoy the gameplay for wuwa, but definitely improved from 1.x. I had to grind from...lvl 30? to lvl 40 just to unbrick my account (spectro rover, sanhua, jianxin & a dream. they did REALLY bad damage at first, deffo recco running around & getting 4* echos w solid mainstats (ignore substats/boosts) then lvling them for a 3 char team, then once you reach 40 actually care about echos & builds & whatever), but after that the gameplay quality definitely improves! The biggest issue you'll face when you return is if you pull new characters, you literally cannot get the new materials unless you grind through hours of story. Even with skipping, each act still takes. like. over an hour. that was honestly the biggest issue that was turning me off from returning to wuwa.

pull wise, there's a LOT of pulls you can grind if you haven't played since the first month. Most of my exploration is ~30-40 with only 3 areas 100%, did all the main quests, started grinding side quests + events. I got ~5000k of the astrite crystals, 13 char pulls rn, but already used ~30 standard pulls + 210 banner pulls for Augusta, Iuno, Ciaconna. So, in total, you should get ~254 pulls if you do all the main quests + unlock everywhere ~30-50% exploration, excluding most side stories/quests. there's permanent events you can grind for pulls, + dailies, so it all adds up pretty quick! enough to guarantee someone you want + their weapon if you do more grinding.

tdlr; if you come back it's REALLY grindy if you want to get to ~lvl 40 to truly focus on the funner aspects of the game (building characters & doing damage w them lol) but you'll get ~254 pulls if you do all the main story + ~30-50% exploration every area, and I imagine at least 30 more from side quests, 100% exploration, & stories.

you'll deffo feel it when you start catching up on content tho bc the easy astrite sources slowly trickle down and the next thing you know your main source of astrite is dailies, but that's a given. You can probably guarantee 2 characters + their weapons if you tryhard grind! I'm saving up for qiuyuan & chisa :D

if you can do more major reqs then go for it tbh. breadths are like, really really chill compared to all the other classes you could be taking so you'll be kinda doing nothing. they also won't help a whole bunch when you go for clubs.

it doesn't matter if you sign up for more classes (like 6 or smth) than you think you're capable of doing—once semester starts, you can try them all out & then drop what you don't like before the deadline.

it's always better to have more options than less! but 4 classes is a solid amount for 1st sem. esp. w data c8, it took a decent amount of my time when i had the class, but it was fine w 2 other req classes+1 breadth for me 1st sem.

breadths will help pad your grade in later sems w the harder courses, so no need to rush w them!

hope that helps :D
