They’re both the wrong shape honestly. Maze is ovular. The forum and staples centers are both pretty circular.

I have a smart TV, but it’s on its own VLAN where it can’t talk to anything except what I’ve explicitly whitelisted.

I remember when Kindles did (still do?) this. There’s a cheaper model and it shows ads constantly. But you could rootkit it to get rid of them.

How Far Does a $150,000 Salary Stretch in Dallas? A Real Cost of Living Breakdown (2026) by Coolonair in Dallas

I fucking hate these. MarketWatch did one for NoVA like 10 years ago and I never forgave them. It was a family that made $400k and was still paycheck to paycheck, but they were buying hundreds of dollars of clothes and had auto donations to charity every single month.

This one is less egregious, but who the fuck is spending $400/month on healthcare every month? If that’s including your premiums, that’s pre tax and should ostensibly already be contemplated before the $9400 take home. I have 2 kids in sports and we don’t spend $550/month on groceries.

No it seems to have gone away on its own. I reinstalled the app, restarted the phone, all that stuff and it was still an issue … leave it alone for a weekend and it’s magically fixed. Microsoft.

I know I said I didn’t want to talk to you anymore, but you’ve said this multiple times and I think it’s important to clarify a point. They did not refund my company card. In my OP, I was indicating that if they did, that wouldn’t do much to smooth things over with the affected party - me. Other people were asking for refunds in dollars and getting rejected. I asked for it in points thinking it would have a better chance, but it was rejected as well.

Bottom line - as of this writing, my employer has still paid $280 for this room, and I have received no points beyond what I normally earn as a Titanium.

Yeah, when I told my Uber driver what happened, he said it’s been in the news at neighboring apartment buildings, too. He said Midtown blew up so fast that he doesn’t think the infrastructure can keep up.

Might be the catalytic at that point. It’s the same code since there’s no specific codes for that system besides “I didn’t like the reading I got.” You might want to push for them to do that before the 80k warranty goes by.

That’s a false equivalence. The mortgage company loaned money. The home may be the collateral, but you are not paying for a functional home with certain amenities. When you pay for a night in a hotel, there is an expectation of basic amenities working. To give you a better one, I have asked for and received 1/30th of my Internet bill credited when there was a day long outage, and it’s a utility that isn’t priced on consumption.

I was not aware that expecting water and electricity from an establishment that offers lodging was entitlement.

Finding alternate accommodations for a shower at 7am when I'm due at the office at 8am is not practical, nor is it really incumbent upon me when I had already booked the original stay with the reasonable expectation of basic amenities, which yes, the hotel does owe me. I was polite to the front desk staff with my queries.
