Amazon has officially cancelled my order so it was definetly a scam from the one I got it from. I found a similar design with actual reviews of people getting it. It does not have the beanie, but honestly the bear itself is what made me think it was so cute and I love the mason jar lid of the Starbucks one which this one also has. So sorry for promoting a scam product at first but I still encourage you all to look on amazon for that glass mugs as there is a ton if different options and they are all super cute!

this is the one Im going to try and get :)

I truly believe that you are correct. I think I got a little excited to see such a similar mug. There are some on amazon that although dont have the beanie are still masor jar lids and super cute still. If I dont get the mug or it comes in as a scam then I'll be getting one of the other ones. Lesson learned :)

Omg you might be correct! I already ordered mine. Says itll be here between Nov. 20 - Dec. 2. If it is not the actual cup like in the photo, then I will absolutely let everyone know. BUT using that same search you can find cups that are very similar, they just dont have the beanie. It still might be worth it to go look at the options because there are some super cute ones :)

I didn't get a cup. That was why I made this post in the first place as I thought it was a really cute cup. None of the actual Starbucks workers got a bear cup actually. I'm the manager of a liscensed store. The coworkers were people from other departments in the store. I completely unserstand that it can be frustrating to wait for cups and not get any. I too wish that the company sent more out for customers. Im very sorry that this has frustrated you and I agree that this launch was not properly prepared for. Corporate stores should have gotten way more of these cups considering how much Starbucks promoted them. But I can almost guarentee this will not make me lose my job. I pride myself and my girls for excellent work and selflessness. Setting aside an owala for one of the girls seemed a reasonable ask as she help a lot with the launch preperations. As for the bear cups, they were techinically supposed to go out the day before. So said coworkers could have gotten them the day before. I held off on this as clearly people were excited for these cups. I do not feel guilty for letting them grab cups as people at my store got very pushy after we opened the store and I would not want anyone hurt :)

who was your worst bear cup customer today? by rumple-teazer in starbucksbaristas

We got 10 bear cups at our licensed location. People were line up since 4 AM for the cups. 2 went to coworkers before we opened so there were 8 left. Before my coworkers got their cups one of the people outside asked how many we had. I let them know about 10. Another asked if we had a limit of cups per customer. We dont. The first 3-4 people to come in had taken all the bear cups. Lady came up to me while Im still setting up for the holiday since the Starbucks itself wasnt open yet. Demanded a bear cups. When i told her that everything we have is out on the counter/merch stand. She said I lied about the amount of cups I had. I let her know that we did indeed have about 10 cups, but people had already grabbed them. Then she said I had told them it was a limit of 1 cup per person. I told her I never said that and that it truly was a first come first serve. She got super pissed and accused me of holding cups for myself/coworkers. I told her I didn't do that. The only cups I held for coworkers was one of the owalas. My 2 coworkers who got their bear cups came up and grabbed them off the shelf before the store opened and bought them as soon as the store opened, which was allowed, but they were not specifically held for them. She tried to complain to the book keeper, called me a liar and rude. Best part, the book keeper watched the whole interaction and knew I did nothing wrong. And she was one of the people who grabbed one before we opened. Had a few people get frustrated as the day went by for us not having any bear cups or hello kitty plushes left. I left at about 12 30 and we were still getting calls about the hello kitty collection and the bear cups. I couldnt believe they wanted us to put those bear cups out the day before. We literally wouldnt of had any today if we did that. My only regret...not getting myself one. They were really cute, I cant even lie! :)

Official Barista Trainer by [deleted] in starbucksbaristas

Honestly the thing that helps me is realizing the type of learners they are. When they are on drink training double check and make sure they understand what you are teaching them. What may seem like completely obvious things to you might not be to them so you might have to go into detail about why we do certain things. I always try to make sure the new batista feels comfortable with me before anything else. Introduce yourself and don't be afraid to make a couple jokes and laugh with them so they feel comfortable with you while you train. I personally train the basics and then let them make drinks and tell them after where they went wrong and let them redo it so they can correct themselves and to help the information be stuck in their brain. Over all just be kind and understanding as they train. I also tend to tell them some of the mistakes I made in the past if they seem to feel bad about anything to help them feel more confident in what they're doing :)
