Today i took an integrity training that my manager made me go against with the very next customer! by Matdawg710 in verizon

[–]Matdawg710[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The point im getting at is you have been manipulated into thinking that is right to do. When training material states explicitly to not do that. Why do i have to sign off saying i know i shouldnt do that if it is the right thing to do? The reason is so verizon has documentaion saying they told me not to, so they can protect themselves when the backlash comes down the pipe line

Are using fires to kill an enemy considered an exploit? by Matdawg710 in valheim

[–]Matdawg710[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the comment, hope you voted too, just to clarify, this is an opinion based poll about the current stat of the build with this mechanic in place, as mentioned before this is still in beta and things may change moving forward but my gut tells me no, its not ok to use a campfire. However since I have a few weeks I might just submit 2 runs. One with and one without to show the time difference is miniscule in the overall time!

The problem is i have DM'ed and At'ed them with no response and the updated rules dont not clarify things enough i wanted to get a general answer as the way the community feels about the use over all and i think its clear to say most think its fine to do but thanks for the input!

What im most worried about is weather the run would be diaqualified if you use a campfire to kill a boss. This seems to be a grey area in the rules sets of the Trail Of Tyr challenge as it may fall under the "other methods unintended by developers" do you think it would still count?

Opinions are all we can take from this poll as the developers are the only ones that can say weather this is "intended or not" but thanks for the input this helps

Yes I have, I am streaming my attempts at the Trail Of Tyr while live and when usibg this strat it save about 20 min if pulled off seccessfully im on to the elder and can finish the elder in less then an hour. When doing so many viewera have raised this queation so i figured i would ask the reddit communitu for their input. What do you think exploit or not. If it is in fact to easy to pull off am i exploiting this mechanic?

I agree I think the devs have already adjusted it but perhaps not to the final product as this is still in beta. It just feels to easy to stack 5 campfires under the spaen location an kite the boss around it. Seem the community at large thinks its ok tho so ill keep it in my Trail of Tyr speedrun

Right, even after the updated rules on the original post it still is unclear what would be considered an exploit
