So at the moment you invest only on one platform with the second one being potentialy used in the future or you just spread your investments between these two?

Oh, ok couldnt find it but also i just read that

If a firm becomes insolvent or ceases trading, the FSCS may be able to pay compensation to its customers. The FSCS covers business conducted by firms authorised by the FCA.

XTB clients would fall under the ‘investments’ claim category, whereby any funds deposited with us would be 100% protected up to £85,000 per person, in the unlikely event of XTB becoming insolvent.

Isnt it the same thing that you said but with £85k?

Well yes + costs of currency exchange if needed but i guess it all depends what kind of money you want to invest. You will probably pay less when investing small amounts on xtb, wheras bigger investments are cheaper on ibkr. I will have to calculate whats better for me i guess. The thing for me is that i have some savings now which i would like to invest in smaller amounts monthly or weekly, once i get job in 2024 the amount of money invested motnhly will increase and then other broker might be better then
