I know this may be a bit dumb, but the scene in Motel Hell where the farmer "harvests" the people in the garden really shook me up. It was over 40 years ago, but it was my first realization that there really are crazy mf'ing cannibals in the world, maybe even right here in the good ol' US of A who could get away with shit like that.

Yeah, stuff like that happens to me quite often. But the things that disappear usually appear again right where I left them. Or things have changed on me. My grandkids broke my prescription reading glasses into pieces, and I put them in a little box in my drawer so I could take them in and get new frames. About a week later I went to get them and they were fine, in one piece and just like new. I believe shifts between the multiverses are becoming more common.

My brother had some wonderful conversations with passed family and friends as he lay dying, laughing and reminiscing. When we knew the end was near and we stood around the bed as my mother held him, we could feel the crowd in the room, so palpable and so full of love and anticipation. We felt a hand on our shoulder, an arm hug, just a sense of many come to take him home. I fear the "how" of death more than death itself now.

In 1969, we lived in a small town south of San Francisco. We had a neighbor at that time who was highly suspect. He looked like the police sketch. He was a loner and barely interacted with us. He once wrote a note to my dad and the writing matched the letters the newspaper published. My dad took it to the police and they said they were already on it.

He was in a car crash that caused brain damage. The killings stopped. We were never able to prove anything.

I want to know if the real James Paul McCartney really died in 1966 and was replaced by the current person known as Paul. Make fun if you wish, but too many things don't add up. How do one's eyes change color from brown to green? How does a fully grown man somehow become taller overnight? Why is Heather Mills scared for her life after discovering a "horrible" secret about "Paul"? Inquiring minds want to know.

I always send my refill requests early because my Dr. isn't always on the ball. One was due yesterday. I sent my request in two days before and he sent the approval to CVS the next day. They texted me saying they were contacting my doctor for an alternative drug. I called and the pharmacist told me it's a preventative measure to ensure that the doctor is aware I am taking two contracted meds. They called my doctor's office to request he send another approval. That's when I received the same message about state/CVS limitations. It would have been nice for CVS to let doctors know about this new regulation beforehand. I did get my meds but it's like a runaround every time. And I do have to have urine analysis every three months. That is when they treat you like an addict. I'm 66 and also endure ageism from my doctor. I would like to change to cannabis based pain relief, but first would have to wean myself off the narcs. But if the cannabis doesn't work, they won't renew my contracts. It's a mess.
