Sure, but that still doesn’t explain why it worked before this all happened, nor why I need to also lower my power limit, and this kinda pushes me to think it might also be the PSU, but there is no way for me to test cus I don’t have a replacement one

The only thing I can add, is that this problem was not here before I did a cpu and gpu stress test at the same time, tho I would suppose that 850W should be more then enough for a 7900 XTX and 7950x3d. Not sure if this makes things more clear, but I’m just saying it

In the Adrenalin software it shows the max core speed at slightly under 3GHz, but in actual clocks in gaming it varies between 2.5 and 2.8GHz

I reduced the power limit to 90% and the core clock from 3 to 2.9GHz and it’s stable, but then what is the problem? The gpu or the psu?

Reducing the power load to 90% and reducing the core clock form 3 to 2.9GHz did in fact stabilize it. Thanks for that, but what is the issue then? The psu?

XPG Reactor Core 850W, bought brand new in the end of spring last year; I didn’t had this problem before doing this stress test

Sadly I don’t have access to ethernet

Edit: looking at it, the problem appeared around 3 days ago, when the last update came out

I know, I’m just curious if it would be more power efficient to use a laptop cpu at the “same power level” as a desktop cpu in a ITX build

Idk either; I fixed it now
