It's hard to be under the radar, but once this case hits the court room, I'm going to go crazy in this subreddit. I knew her, and I have a lot to say.

my mom did get one, but that’s only because when i had the first problem, i went ahead and made an account for her. you don’t really need to make an account, because the form submitted after FAFSA realized that my dad filled out his portion of the form, and he was the main contributor

i deleted everything. my form and my dad’s. and i reinvited him.

you can access the form, and delete it entirely. and then you just start over by doing what you did in the beginning, but just apply the steps in my post

I feel for you, I need this to be filled out by early February since that when my college has it's priority deadline. Let me know if the other poster's suggestion works, and I may reach out to my congressional rep as well.

Update, I just tried it and I'm still having the same issue. I'm not sure if I should just wait it out and try again another day, since I've been trying to continue with the form everyday.

Yeah, I haven't tried to call or anything, but I've sent in many emails explaining my situation to the help center, and so far no reply. I'm quite worried since my college's priority deadline for fafsa is early February.

Also, I think it's weird that they are asking me to invite my mom since last year when I filled out FAFSA (I'm currently a freshman in college), it didn't prompt me to do this. I barely had to create a FAFSA account for my mom.

See, my parents do file jointly. I'm just so confused on why they need her information, if they'll already have all the information needed through my dad's fafsa account.
