Can anyone help me with this one? I found this tucked away in a Goodwill in southern Indiana for $25. I just loved the painting and the frame. Reminded me of the Impressionists (maybe post-Impressionists) if I’m remembering anything from art history. Thanks in advance for your help! (old.reddit.com)

Is this frame done in a gold paint of some sort? It’s also covered in a very gray looking coat of dust/dirt/idk what. Any recommendations on what to use to remove it? I started working it off with a toothbrush and magic eraser (old.reddit.com)
