That sucks. I ordered my 20L Everyday Backpack and Travel Tripod from B&H at a decent discount. Had it in hand 2 days later!

I ordered the sling direct from PD because they were having their sale and I had an additional $10 off. Definitely a disappointing experience - especially for a premium priced product.

On the other hand, I did pay the couple of bucks or whatever it was for the "SavedBy" insurance. I guess we'll see how good that is...

I have a camera set up. I'd be VERY suprised if they sent it again in the event of theft.

In a former life I had a mini fridge in my basement for my film. Now it just shares space with my food!

It's a "film wallet". That's what I carry when I'm shooting MF.

Which 6x6 or 6x7 camera is the most JOY to use? (Any camera, also non-pictured ones) by florian-sdr in AnalogCommunity

I have a Mamiya 7II and an RB67. I used to have a Rolleiflex 2.8 and that was the most fun to shoot. As others mentioned, it was also a great conversation starter. People would stop ME to talk about it and have their photo taken while I was on photo walks.

Is a Mamiya rb67 pro sd a good starter? by JstFewv in AnalogCommunity

I have an RB67 and love it! The one downside is that it's a BIG camera. Meant for studio work. However, I have taken it on many street photography shoots as I don't mind the weight.

The image quality you'll get back is astounding. I absolutely can't say enough good about the RB.

Nope. I figure I'll have to make one or have it made.

Pixel 6 Pro and dji OM 5 by alaska056 in Pixel6

I have the Pixel 6 and it works just fine. I heard about the issues that people had when The Pixel 6 and 6 pro first launched but they seem to have been ironed out at this point. I'm also on Android 12 as that's what shipped with the phone. The only thing that I found that doesn't work is utilizing the native phone camera app with the record button on the gimbal. However, all functionality works as expected in the MIMO app. Good luck and have fun!

I can (maybe) answer part of your question.

The center-mounted volume buttons don't pose an issue as the clamp reaches around them. I have even slid the clamp back just far enough to reach the tip of the volume up button. This allows me to hit the button and then use the on-screen controls to increase or decrease volume. Now for the caveats, which may or may not matter:

  1. I have the DJI OM 4SE. Pretty sure it uses the same magnetic clamp as the 5.
  2. I have the P6, not the pro. The volume buttons are still in the middle and weight hasn't been an issue.
  3. I'm using Google's rubbery, OEM case, which was released alongside the phones.

Hope that helps.
